The events were in coordination with Colgate's Arts, Creativity, and Innovation Initiative, presented by Living Writers, University Museums, and the Ryan Family Film Series.

On Feb. 12, ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ celebrated the opening of the Clifford Gallery’s new exhibition from Franco-American artist Suzanne Husky, titled For Alliances with the Beaver People. The exhibition features a singular physical work: an 11-meter-long embroidered tapestry that traces key moments in beaver-human relationships.

Colgate’s entire collection of Chinese woodcut prints, donated by geography professor emeritus and Peace and Conflict Studies founder Theodore Herman (1954–1981), is now on display for the first time. 

ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ officially marked the first repatriation for Ancestral remains removed from what is now the state of Maryland through the federal Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA).

In a cooperative effort to bring Haudenosaunee culture to life for younger generations, the Oneida Indian Nation partnered with ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½â€™s Longyear Museum of Anthropology and the Picker Art Gallery to produce large outdoor reading stations, known as a Story Walk.
